13 – Tourism, culture, sport and leisure

Objective of the program

To diagnose the impact on tourism, culture, sport and leisure which should lead to structured projects and processes to stimulate these activities in the locations where the impact was pointed out.

Progress of Program

In September, the closing events of the formation of the Strengthening of Local Organizations – FOL project took place in Minas Gerais in the municipalities of Ipatinga and Governador Valadares, respectively, on September 14th and 21st.

- Start of the Environmental Education contract, as per activity report.

- Visit by General Manager, Juliana Bedoya, on 08/21/24 to publicize PG25 actions to external media outlets. Attached are photos to demonstrate the visit in annex 01.

- Delivery of the Forest Inventory on 08/02/24, in compliance with CIF Resolution No. 716, as per Official Letter FR.2024.2004

Reading Incentive:

On June 13, 2024, the municipality of Marliéria, in Minas Gerais, celebrated the reopening of the Municipal Public Library through the Reading Incentive project. This action, carried out in partnership with the Municipal Department of Education and Culture, benefited all residents, representing another major milestone in the project.

FOL (Strengthening of Local Organizations):
On January 18th, the training process of the Project to Strengthen Local Organizations (FOL) began virtually, with an inaugural class made available in Recording of the Inaugural Class (hep.solutions) and conducted via Zoom. The project aims to benefit local organizations in 38 municipalities along the Doce River channel, offering support for the strengthening and sustainability of these entities.

Technical visit by the winners of the Good Practices Award for the Reading Incentive project to the National Library of Brazil:
On the 19th and 20th of January, nine librarians from Raul Soares, Governador Valadares and Linhares were treated to a technical visit to the National Library of Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, a space that is the depository of Brazil's bibliographic and documentary heritage, considered by UNESCO to be a one of the ten largest national libraries in the world and the largest in Latin America. This visit was made possible by the submission of projects by public libraries in 32 municipalities, through the Good Practices Awards. The visit to the National Library exemplifies the project's strategy of community engagement and reading incentive.

On December 14, 2023, the municipality of Córrego Novo, in Minas Gerais, celebrated the reopening of the “José Ferreira do Carmo” Municipal Public Library through the Reading Incentive project. This action, carried out in partnership with the Municipal Department of Education and Culture, benefited all residents. The reopening marked the end of deliveries of items to all 32 libraries participating in the project, representing a crucial phase of the Reading Incentive.

An Entrepreneurship, Citizenship and Leisure Action was carried out, promoting a day of leisure for the population, providing services, health and entertainment, in addition to encouraging people in the topics of Entrepreneurship, Qualifications and Financial Education, topics that contribute to economic development. On the respective date: November 25th in Aimorés - MG: At the event, we received 1,912 local residents, 4,794 services: 3,589 services in entrepreneurship, financial education and citizenship services and 1,205 services carried out on the street for leisure, cultural and sporting activities. Exhibition and commercialization result: R$6,800.00. Hiring local suppliers: R$ 120,979.80.

On November 25, 2023, the residents of Pingo D'Água - MG celebrated the reopening of the Érico Veríssimo Municipal Public Library. In partnership between the City Hall and the Reading Incentive project, the event was a crucial step towards modernizing public libraries, promoting the qualification of professionals and improving infrastructure. The initiative also provided the municipality with new books, games, equipment and furniture.

Held on November 30, 2023, the city of Mariana – MG hosted the Good Practices Award for the Reading Incentive project, with the participation of representatives from the 32 participating libraries, in addition to the Departments of Culture and Tourism, and representatives of the State System of Minas Gerais Library. The event was also attended by the illustrious global actress Elisa Lucinda, who spoke about literature and racism. The initiative recognized public facilities in 9 municipalities that promoted and encouraged the use of spaces revitalized by the Renova Foundation through the development of Usage and Sustainability Plans for the spaces. The execution of the event was a crucial step in the development of the project aimed at recognizing professionals working in encouraging culture and education in municipalities.

We carried out Entrepreneurship, Citizenship and Recreation Actions, promoting a day of recreation
for the population, providing services, health and entertainment, in addition to encouraging people in the topics of Entrepreneurship, Qualifications and Financial Education, topics that contribute to economic development. On the respective dates:
- October 7th in Povoação, Linhares-ES. At the event, we received 2,548 local residents, 11,560 attendances: 245 attendances in workshops and short entrepreneurship courses, 5,161 attendances in entrepreneurship, financial education and citizenship services and 6,339 attendances carried out on the street for recreation, cultural and sporting activities. Exhibition and commercialization result: R$ 4.725,00. Hiring local suppliers: R$ 108.705,70.
- October 21st in Marilândia-ES: At the event, we received 3,734 local residents, 4,178 attendances: 275 attendances in workshops and short entrepreneurship courses, 840 attendances in entrepreneurship, financial education and citizenship services and 3,338 attendances carried out on the street for recreation, cultural and sporting activities. Exhibition and commercialization result: R$ 3.982,00. Hiring local suppliers: R$ 95.378,00.
- October 28th in Ipaba-MG. At the event, we received 1,782 local residents, 4,261 attendances: 239 attendances in workshops and short entrepreneurship courses, 2.363 attendances in entrepreneurship, financial education and citizenship services and 643 attendances carried out on the street for recreation, cultural and sporting activities. Exhibition and commercialization result: R$ 6.684,00. Hiring local suppliers: R$150.309,80.

Between the 25th and 28th of October, the Tourism Entrepreneurship Development Project promoted the participation of 14 people involved in tourist centers at the Abeta Summit, an important Brazilian Congress on Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism. The event, held annually since 2003, is the main meeting of the Nature Tourism production chain in Brazil. In addition, a stand was made available for the exhibition and publicity of the Tourist Centers (Governador Valadares and Marliéria-MG and Linhares-ES).

Closing of the Fishing Tournament took place on September 16, 2023, Governador Valadares/ MG. With 235 present at the event. During the tournament we had 286 sport fishermen, including professionals and amateurs. 296 fish were caught, including 181 peacock bass, 81 and 34 dourados. This is an action of the Sport Fishing and Amateur Fishing Recovery Project – MG and ES, which seeks to carry out actions to recover Sport Fishing in the Doce River basin, linked to fishing tourism in the Doce River region as a way of recovering image, income generation, alternative economic activities, local development and appreciation of intangible heritage in Compliance with Clauses 103 h), 104 f) and 104 g) of the Transaction and Conduct Adjustment Agreement (TTAC).
Reopening of the Municipal Public Library “Raimunda Soares Sturzeneker” through the Reading Incentive project. It happened in Conselheiro Pena/MG, on September 12, 2023. The reopening of the libraries represents an important phase of the Reading Incentive project, as it marks the final steps towards completing the deliveries of items to the 32 participants. Furthermore, this process marks an advance in compliance with clause 103E of the TTAC, which governs the “modernization of municipal libraries and the creation of a National Reading Incentive Committee, in order to encourage actions to promote reading.”

MOD 2 Doce RFP Project (Baixo Guandu/ES)

Conclusion of 10 workshops of the Creative Mural cycle, of the Ger.Ação Project - Intergenerational Actions. This is one of six types of intergenerational workshops (with 15 children and 15 elderly people) per class, which aim to bring together two age groups of children and elderly people who have been heavily impacted by social isolation measures.

Action in Resplendor (MG) and Linhares (ES), promoting a day of recreation for the population, provision of services, health and entertainment, in addition to stimulating people on the topics of entrepreneurship, qualifications and financial education, themes that contribute to economic development.

Start of informative workshops and dissemination of registrations for the 2nd Edition of the Strengthening Local Organizations Project - FOL.

This is an action of the Sport Fishing and Amateur Fishing Recovery Project – MG and ES, which seeks to carry out actions to recover Sport Fishing in the Doce River basin, linked to fishing tourism in the Doce River region as a way of recovering image, income generation, alternative economic activities, local development and appreciation of intangible heritage in Compliance with Clauses 103 h), 104 f) and 104 g) of the Transaction and Conduct Adjustment Agreement (TTAC).

In December 2022, the delivery of modernization items for libraries in São Domingos do Prata, Minas Gerais, began. This is an important step in the Reading Incentive project, which complies with Clause 103E of the TTAC, which governs the modernization of municipal libraries and the creation of a National Reading Incentive Committee, in order to encourage actions to promote reading.

The leisure repair modality in the 2nd Edition of Doce RFP
aims to repair actions interrupted by the dam break and/or provide for the development of new actions in the territory. This modality is linked to clause 104D of the TTAC, which deals with dealing with the loss of the necessary environment for carrying out leisure, sports and sociability practices.
We highlight the implementation of the International Clowns Event (Decentralization), which took place in Mariana (MG), whose beneficiaries are students from urban and rural areas.
This action took place through the financial support provided by the Renova Foundation in existing or innovative actions in the municipalities that were impacted.

The Reading Incentive Project, of a compensatory nature, integrates the PG13 (Promotion of the Recovery of Quality of Life and Tourism) to the fulfillment of clause 103E of the TTAC: “modernization of municipal public libraries and creation of a National Committee of Incentive to Reading , in order to encourage actions to promote reading.”

We highlight the receipt of materials to start the modernization process of municipal public libraries to encourage actions to promote reading. 32 libraries were benefited throughout the territory covered."
"Reparation of tourism and leisure in fishing

The activities to repair tourism and leisure in fishing aim to comply with clause 104D of the TTAC, which deals with dealing with the loss of the necessary environment to carry out leisure, sports and sociability practices.

At this moment, we highlight the training for the fishing tournament, held in Pedra Corrida (MG). In general, the training is planned to take place along the Doce River Basin. This action specifically took place with fishermen and local entrepreneurs linked to the tourism chain. It had 20 classes and activities with a workload of 36 hours. Activities were developed to encourage the inclusion of fishermen in the fishing tourism production chain and possibilities for alternative sources of employment for local artisanal fishermen."

Carrying out an entrepreneurial mission for the tourism chain is an action promoted by Program 13 to support the development of local entrepreneurs and promote benchmarking. Representatives of the three tourism hubs in the cities of Mariana – MG, Marliéria – MG, Governador Valadares – MG and Linhares – ES participated in the action.

The event took place in the city of Brotas - SP and had the participation of tourism professionals, local entrepreneurs, as well as being open to members of the APLs and publicized through an RFP.

The objective was to immerse yourself in governance structures, study the local environment, understand how the business community emerged in favor of the common objective, allow contact with various cultural attractions and tourist enterprises, carry out activities related to the management of visited spaces, especially from the observation of strengths and weaknesses and finally make a connection between the topics addressed in the project's technical training and the observed practical reality.

The action is part of the tourist entrepreneurship development project and advances in compliance with clauses 104A and 104C, as well as indicator I05 (Percentage of implementation of the entrepreneurship plan).
Execution of projects approved in the 2nd Edition of Doce RFP
, Leisure Repair modality.
The actions of the 2nd Edition of Doce RFP
took place in the municipalities of Mariana and Linhares. The participating public included residents of Mariana and Linhares, entrepreneurs linked to the tourism chain (hotels, restaurants, guides, among others), in addition to tourists who were in the regions to participate in the events.
The projects carried out in this first moment add up to almost R$ 500 thousand of investments by the Renova Foundation.
The Reparation for Leisure modality in the Doce RFP
aims to meet clause 104D of the TTAC, which deals with dealing with the loss of the necessary environment for carrying out leisure, sports and sociability practices.

Organization of the Sport Fishing Tournament in Minas Gerais, in partnership with APARD, in Governados Valadares.
The actions of the Sport Fishing Tournament Project took place before and after the central event, namely the Sport Fishing Tournament, with an estimated 250 participants, in addition to all economic activity in the region's tourist chain (hotels, restaurants, etc.).
Previously, there was a Children's Workshop and Tournament with the participation of 100 children from the municipal school system. In addition, the project provided the 1st Fishing Tourism Conductor Training, with the first group having a number of 14 participants, including artisanal and sport fishermen and people linked to the field of tourism.
Other training actions are planned for this project throughout the year. The actions of the Sport Fishing Tournament project are linked to fishing tourism in the Rio Doce region, as a way of image recovery, income generation and alternative economic activities, local development and appreciation of intangible heritage.
In addition to compliance with clauses 103h, 104f and 104g of the TTAC.

Conclusion of the selection of the Doce RFP
, with the first support of the second edition, the Iron Biker event in Mariana, attracting tourists from more than 10 states of the country, with national repercussion of the event in the media, attraction of intense tourist flow, recovery of the image of the municipality and large generation of local income.
Tourism Axis: Realization of technical mission 2022. The mission was carried out in the city of Brotas, in the state of São Paulo, between the 19th and 23rd of September. The representatives of the 4 tourism APLs (16 participants from the pole municipalities: Mariana, Governador Valadares, Marliéria and Linhares/Foz) were able to participate in the experiences that involved the secretary of tourism, agents, attractions and especially the local tourism association. The action is part of the tourist entrepreneurship development project and advances in compliance with clauses 104A and 104C, as well as indicator I05 (Percentage of implementation of the entrepreneurship plan).

Tourism Axis: Training in Home Accommodation (Bed and Breakfast) for the start of home accommodation activities in Marliéria, held from 08/22 to 26/08, through the APL in the Marliéria region. The course had 13 participants and had a very positive evaluation. The objective is to train people to start a new economic activity in this area and also to promote tourism development in the region, which has an absolute gap in accommodation. After the training, more than 50 beds will be made available for accommodation in the city and surroundings. In addition to training, participants received layette kits and design/architecture consultancy for minor adjustments to their facilities. The action is part of the tourism development project and advances in compliance with clauses 104A and 104C, as well as indicator I05 (Percentage of implementation of the entrepreneurship plan).
Tourism Axis: Delivery of the Polo da Foz website and social networks. The action is part of the promotion plan, was defined as a structuring action by APL and advances in compliance with clauses 104A and 104C, and indicator I06 (Percentage of implementation of the destination promotion plan).

Sport Fishing Tournament: Workshop with the fishing team and contracted supplier for action plan adjustments, definition of locations and dates, dissemination/communication actions, training and mobilization. Essential activity for planning activities and integrating the needs and demands of the different areas of the Renova Foundation.

Holding of workshops in the continuing education cycle of the Reading Incentive project with managers of municipal public libraries, which is part of the mobilization process for Stage 3 of the project (to be carried out in the second semester): modernization of libraries in 32 municipalities within the range of the TTAC area. Activity advances in compliance with clause 103e: modernization of municipal public libraries and creation of a National Reading Incentive Committee, in order to promote actions to promote reading.

Holding of the First Seminar on the Local Productive Arrangement of Tourism in Foz, with the participation of 42 representatives from the communities of Foz, including entrepreneurs from the tourism sector, local leaders, artisans and those interested in the topic. This is a structuring action defined by EGL and represents an advance in the construction of the Local Productive Arrangement for tourism.

Closing of Applications for the second edition of the Doce RFP
: 808 proposals were registered for modality 1 (social projects to promote culture, sport, culture and recreation) and 121 for modality 2 (reparation of recreation). The RFP is an important tool to support those affected in the development of projects and actions in the territory and, in the case of modality 2, it is directly linked to clause 104d, relating to repairing losses in the recreation environment. Total of proposals in the PG13 modalities: 929.

Completion of the Culture and Sports Institutional Strengthening Project - FICE, with the completion of the training modules for public managers on the subject of Culture and Sport, and the preparation by these managers of projects to raise funds to promote these themes in the municipalities . Measurement of indicators I08 (Percentage of training of managers in relation to the number of subscribers) and I08.1 (Percentage of implementation of the Institutional Strengthening Plan for Culture and Sports).

Finalization of the contracts referring to all the structuring actions of the APLs. The actions advance in the schedule of the tourism axis for the poles and in the strengthening of local governance structures, a key element of the definitiveness of the strategy.
Signature of 100% of suitable projects approved in the first edition of the RFP.

Launch of the second edition of the Doce RFP with a remedial line for Leisure (with progress in complying with clause 104d of the TTAC): investment forecast of 23 million BRL and support for around 300 projects. In this line, there is an investment forecast of 9 million BRL and support for approximately 50 projects.
Completion of the first stage of the development of tourist entrepreneurship in the hub cities, with the construction of Local Productive Tourism Arrangements in the 4 hub cities.

Conducting mentoring with drivers and tourist receptionists in Foz, as part of the Integrated Development Plan for Foz and Adjacent Coastal Region - PDI (judicialized in Axis 8).
InovaFol: business rounds between representatives of the 169 social organizations participating in the Project to Strengthen Local Organizations and four large supporting companies (Arcelor Mittal, Itaú Social, Instituto Usiminas and BTG Pactual), aiming at the sustainability of organizations after the end of the Project. • According to Resolution 239, the Special Project is under review and is being replaced by the project that strengthens the Tourism, Culture, Sports and Leisure sectors. After definition stage of the scope, it will be submitted for validation to the Technical Board. It will cover the Doce River Mouth area and Mariana, in addition to municipalities classified as critical.

• Development and validation of the methodology for the distribution of resources from the Doce RFP, between the municipalities of Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo.

Organization of the third round of the Triple Crown of Professional Wave Break Surfing in the Regencia district, in Linhares (ES). The event, held between October 25 and 28, is part of the Brazilian and Espirito Santo surf circuit.

Provided support for the 10th International Meeting of Clowns with decentralization actions in the affected communities (08/25 to 09/19). Provided support for events in the Doce River mouth area: “Arraia de Todos” and “Mica Fubica”.

In Linhares/ES a kick off meeting was held to start work on the Impact Assessment in the New Areas to be carried out by SYNERGIA. The company will carry out services for the elaboration of an assessment of the impact on tourism, culture, sports and recreational activities in the municipalities of Serra, Aracruz, Sao Mateus, Conceicao da Barra, Fundao and Linhares, affected by the Fundao Dam collapse in the state of Espirito Santo. Also held was the 2nd Stage of the Surf Circuit - Pontal do Ipiranga. The event aims to promote the sport and recover the exposure of the district that used to attract a great numbers of surfing public, mainly bodyboarders. In addition to increasing the flow of tourists, it also contributes to the recovery of local economic development.

Held in Mariana/MG was the 3rd round of Circus Nights. The monthly event strengthens Mariana's commitment to socioeconomic development by encouraging tourism and enhancing local cultural manifestations. In July, the Iron Biker event was also contracted. The event aims to promote tourism, culture and the economy of Mariana, from September 13 to 16, 2018. The annual event is already consolidated in the municipality, strengthening the vocation of the municipality for large events in the adventure tourism sphere, favoring also other tourism, economic and social aspects.

This month, the second round of the Circus Nights was held.

The Renova Foundation also supported the party in honor of the national hero Caboclo Bernardo, through an agreement with the Regencia Residents Association. Likewise, the program sponsored the 28th Congo Band Event, also in Regencia.

The first stage of the Surfing Circuit in Povoaçao took place during this period. The second stage of the Circus Nights and the Cultural Event Production Workshop were also organized.

In addition, UNESCO visited the Mariana community to address technical cooperation issues in the area of cultural heritage. The entity helped increase adhesion to the diagnosis of immaterial assets.

In April, the Special Project to Support Socioeconomic Development Through Tourism in the Doce River mouth region was started, with the elaboration and validation of an activities schedule. This initiative was undertaken together with community leaders and representatives of the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism and Culture and State Secretariat of Culture. The project aims to support the empowering and development of entrepreneurship in activities related to commerce (crafts), services (tourism) and culture, through actions that promote income generation and the resumption of growth.

The proposal of the special project "Mariana, Present and Future" was presented on April 20 to the group, the council and representatives of the Renova Foundation.

On April 28th, the first session of the Circus Nights project was held. This is one of the emergency actions that seeks to stimulate tourism, culture and economy in Mariana, through the promotion of recreational activities and training of skilled labor. Throughout 2018 there will be six events on public squares and six free workshops.

Presentation of the Foz River Mouth Special Project to the leaders of the communities of Regencia and Povoacao (ES) and to the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE).
The scope of the project for the construction of the recreation area in Povoacao was approved.

In Mariana (MG), demands and proposals were collected for the elaboration of the Special Project of Mariana, together with the Secretariat of Culture, Tourism and Patrimony.

The Foz River Mouth Special Project was presented to leaders of the Regencia and Povoacao communities, in Espirito Santo, and SEBRAE.

The Program for the Preservation of Historical, Cultural and Artistic Memory was presented and filed with the Interfederative Committee (CIF) and Technical Board.

The calendar has been defined for the presentations of the Circus Nights project by the Circo Volante Circus in Mariana.

In January, the Term of Reference was approved for contracting the service to assess new areas. The purchase requisition was opened by the Renova Foundation and the contracting process was initiated. The Term of Reference for the Elaboration of Participative Plans was also concluded, and the purchase requisition process was opened for contracting companies.

Meeting to define the program with the technical group, designated by the Technical Board, in Minas Gerais and Espirito Santo.

The agreement was signed with resident associations of Povoacao and Regencia, in Espirito Santo, for the realization of the Summer Project in the region of the Doce river mouth.

In November, the municipalities of Rio Doce, Barra Longa and Mariana (MG), validated the Assessment for Culture, Sport, Leisure and Tourism. In all, ten of the 39 municipalities have already approved their respective assessments.
For the definition in detail of the Tourism, Culture, Sports and Leisure Program, Renova met with the Technical Group, determined by the Technical Board. The risks of the program were also defined, together with the Risk Governance area of the Renova Foundation.
Another meeting was held with the Espirito Santo State Department of Culture to join workforces and build a close relationship.
In relation to the communities, Renova assisted in the 9th International Meeting of Clowns in Mariana and the purchase of uniforms and sports equipment for the amateur soccer teams of Barra Longa and Mariana (E.C. Gesteira, Unidos de Bento Rodrigues, E.C. Ponte Branca, Ponte Branca Soccer Club).
A soccer field was rented, and logistical support was provided for children aged 7 to 12 from the community of Paracatu de Baixo. The activity is developed in partnership with the sports association of Paracatu, GASA, to provide opportunities for recreation and socialization for young people in temporary housing situation, every Monday from 18 to 19h.

A meeting was held with the Municipal Secretary of Tourism, the mayor of Mariana and companies responsible for Iron Biker and the clowns event to define the proposal for participation in the projects by the Renova Foundation. A meeting was held with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to facilitate possible partnerships.

All assessments of tourism, culture, sport and leisure were provided, in digital format, to the affected municipalities. In addition, 23 of the 40 affected municipalities received a printed report.

Renova supported the soccer teams of Uniao Sao Bento, Gasa and Paracatu Sport Club during their participations in the Mariana amateur soccer league. A meeting with amateur soccer teams from Mariana (Paracatu E.C.) and Barra Longa (E.C. Gesteira) defined the planning of the actions and support of the coming months.

The soccer field for the women's team of Paracatu de Baixo was rented, and help was provided to the Group of Friends of Santo Antonio (Gasa) during the celebration of its 16th anniversary. Support was also provided to the gathering of the Joao Artensio Youth Group of Bento Rodrigues.

Of the ten municipalities identified as critically affected by the collapse, the assessments of the following towns have been validated: Galileia, Naque, Santa Cruz do Escalvado, Tumiritinga, Resplendor, Raul Soares, Mariana, Barra Longa, Rio Doce and Governador Valadares.

The assessments of Galilee, Naque and Santa Cruz do Escalvado were approved. The municipalities of Tumiritinga, Resplendor, Raul Soares, Mariana and Baixo Guandu, in Minas Gerais, sent their comments and scheduled face-to-face meetings with the technical team.

In a meeting with the Municipal Secretary of Tourism, the mayor of Mariana (MG) and the companies responsible for the Iron Biker event and the meeting of clowns, the participation of the Renova Foundation in these projects was approved.

The bases of the Tourism, Culture, Sport and Leisure Program, which define the scope and deadlines, were presented to the Technical Board.

The 40 affected municipalities received the assessment results for tourism, culture, sports and leisure in digital format. Of these 40, 23 received the report in hard copy.

Renova supported the soccer teams of União São Bento, Gasa and Paracatu Esporte Clube to participate in the amateur soccer league of Mariana (MG).

Rental of soccer fields for the União São Bento, GASA and Paracatu Esporte Clube teams from Minas Gerais and also a five-a-side soccer field for the Bento Rodrigues women's team.

The contracted consulting firms, Expressão Socioambiental - responsible for the elaboration of the culture, sport, leisure and tourism diagnostics of the impacted municipalities of Minas Gerais - and Futura - that carried out the analyses in Espirito Santo - presented the result of the work to the Technical Board of Education and Culture.

Another action that the program is developing is the support to sports activities of the communities of Bento Rodrigues, Paracatu de Baixo and Gesteira, such as the practice of amateur soccer. Five men's teams, from Paracatu and Bento Rodrigues, are using the leased fields in Mariana. Where necessary, transportation is provided for teams to travel to other communities. Renova is also supporting the formation of a women's team, with representatives from the Bento Rodrigues community.

The Renova Foundation received the 39 diagnoses of culture, sports, leisure and tourism, which were forwarded to the leaders of the programs in order to enable better understanding and practical use of the information when responding to queries of the municipalities of Linhares and Colatina, in Espírito Santo.
