Interfederative Committee’s decision directs next steps for reopening in new locations
The Technical Information Centers (TIC) of Linhares (ES), Mariana and Governador Valadares (MG) were closed on the 13th of September, in compliance with Resolution 800 of the Interfederative Committee (CIF) and its developments.
The installation of these temporary TIC units in rented properties was a strategy adopted to comply with Clause 174 of the TTAC until the definitive units were installed via partnerships with public entities, ensuring the organization, consolidation and provision of an information collection on the Fundão dam rupture, from the three physical units, in addition to the virtual environment. The digital collection on the Fundão dam collapse and the reparation actions remains available at the interactive website.
The schedule for reopening the TICs is already being negotiated with city halls and local institutions in Mariana, Governador Valadares and Linhares, ensuring that the project continues to benefit communities with transparency and access to relevant data.
