The Head of Institutional Development of the Renova Foundation, Andrea Azevedo, will speak at one of the event’s tables
This Tuesday (08/29), will take place at the Dom Cabral Foundation (FDC) in Nova Lima (MG) the 10th International Forum for Sustainable Development – Sustentar 2017. The event is organized by the Institute Sustentar for Socio-Environmental Responsibility and, in this issue, addresses the topic “Climate Urgencies, Innovation, Sustainable Markets and Possible Futures”.
After the opening ceremony, the panel “Great Dialogue: Vision and Sustainability”, will take place, which will be mediated by Ricardo Siqueira, Head of Sustainability and Social Projects of the Dom Cabral Foundation (FDC), and will be attended by seven people, among which Andrea Azevedo, Head of Institutional Development of the Renova Foundation.
In this panel the following topics will be discussed:
Topic 1: Governments, companies and society united towards sustainable development: are we succeeding?
Topic 2: What are the advances and demands?
Topic 3: What can we do today to be a good example tomorrow?
Topic 4: What should leaders and opinion makers know about Brazil for the next 10 years?
Considered one of the most important events in Latin America on sustainability, the forum will feature simultaneous panels, creative immersion sessions, and the participation of sustainable technology startups in partnership with large companies that will demonstrate how the concept of sustainability can be applied to the routine of the productive sector.
Parallel to the debates, another attraction will be the presentation of innovations in products and services developed by entrepreneurs aligned with the new economic, environmental and social demands. The winners of the 5th Sustentar Ranking of Innovation, companies that stand out in the rational use of natural resources and raw materials, green inputs, sustainable production methods, innovation, creativity and incorporation of the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the UN in three categories: product, service and sustainable innovation.
