The initiative is an opportunity to discuss and present to the public the challenges that involve the reconstruction and its social, economic and environmental balanced development.
On Thursday (03/09), the Renova Foundation participated in the event Transformational Business Day organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank Group, in São Paulo (SP).
During the event several proposals and transformative solutions to some of the main challenges of economic development in Brazil were presented and discussed, and in this context the CEO of the Renova Foundation, Roberto S. Waack, spoke about the challenges of the institution’s performance. He presented the pillars of performance and reinforced the importance of dialogue and the participation of the public in the development of the restoration and reconstruction actions for the impacted areas and communities.
The municipal secretary of Innovation and Technology of São Paulo, Daniel Annenberg, also presented the proposals on this subject in the state capital.
The Transformational Business Day is part of the program Transformational Business Awards 2017, a global initiative of IFC and the Financial Times to reward innovative and long-term solutions for development key issues by the private sector.
