Andrea Azevedo, CEO, presented the progress of the environmental actions managed by the institution
On June 6, Andrea Azevedo, CEO of the Renova Foundation, participated in Environmental Tuesday, an event organized by the Minas Gerais Environmental Defense Association (Amda), with the theme “The Doce River tragedy: What is being done?”.
During the occasion, Andrea presented the progress of the environmental actions managed by Renova. In total, there are 19 fronts of action, among them, tailings management, recovery of springs and Permanent Protection Areas (APPs) and monitoring of the Doce River Basin.
Environmental Tuesday is a project of Amda, in partnership with the National Service of Commercial Learning (Senac), which seeks to promote debates on topics of environmental relevance.
