Interviews complete registration of affected people who requested until the end of 2021
The Renova Foundation continues to carry out interviews to register people who declared themselves affected by the Fundao dam collapse, in Mariana (MG). The service, carried out in partnership with the company Synergia, prioritizes the order of request for registration, closed on 12/31/2021, according to the decision of the 12th Federal Court of Justice, on 10/30/2021.
To complete the process, the claimant is reached by phone and, subsequently, a date is scheduled for the interview, completion of the form and presentation of documents proving the damage(s) declared. The interviewee must present proof of vaccination, in addition to personal documents and proof of address, which are mandatory to register. The manifestations will be answered in order of registration and carried out until December 31, 2023.
The Integrated Registration was implemented through the Survey and Registry of the Impacted Program to identify individuals and companies, micro and small companies, affected by the collapse of the dam, and the survey of their socioeconomic characteristics, as well as the impacts suffered.
COVID-19
The registration interviews, carried out in person, are done in accordance with Covid-19 prevention protocols. Persons interviewed must present proof of vaccination, single or double dose; wear a mask all the time you are with the interviewer; keep a distance of 1.5 m from the interviewer; seek, within what’s possible, an open space with natural ventilation to fill out the form.
