Between April 24 and May 3, youth from Mariana (MG) and its districts can register for the Apprentice Program of the Renova Foundation. Technical-professional training in Administrative Processes for young adults and teenagers, the Apprentice Program has theoretical and practical activities and will be implemented in partnership with Senai. In order to participate, the Renova Foundation apprentice candidate must be between the ages of 16 and 22, be regularly enrolled in school and be attending 9th grade or up, or have completed high school.
Enrollment takes place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, at the secretariat of the Senai in Mariana, located at Rodovia do Contorno, s/n, Colina neighborhood. Those interested must present a photocopy and original of the following: ID, CPF and proof of residence.
The selection process is broken down into two stages. In the first stage, a Portuguese and a math test are taken. The tests take place on May 11 in the Senai unit in Mariana and the minimum score is 50 points. Then, on May 24, dynamic group activities will be held for behavioral evaluation and analysis of documentation proving the requirements for participation in the program. Twenty apprentices will be selected to work in various areas of the Renova Foundation. They will be contacted by phone on May 27 and can register at the Senai Unit in Mariana on May 29 and 30.
The selected candidates will participate in the Administrative Processes classes. Taught at Senai, the course will take place in the morning from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and will exist of two modules with subjects related to human relations, basic computer science, communication, administrative and financial work routines, as well as customer service. The practical training will take place at the Renova Foundation, and only those apprentices who have the minimum attendance days of the theoretical stage will be able to participate. The young participant will receive a compensation of half the minimum wage and a commuting allowance while participating in the program.
