Renova Foundation and Campus Party Institute team up to make technological laboratories possible in Governador Valadares, Mariana and Linhares

Published in: 08/02/2023

The project will enable technological training for hundreds of students in each municipality.

The Renova Foundation and the Campus Party Institute sign an agreement for the implementation of the Include by Campus Party project in the municipalities of Governador Valadares, Mariana and Linhares, which will enable the creation of three Technological Laboratories for the introduction of robotics and electronics in the municipalities. The goal is to provide technology training opportunities for 200 students aged 10 to 18 at each center, lasting six months per class.

The technological laboratories have several tools, circuits and equipment, such as a 3D printer, virtual reality glasses, drone, among others. Participants will also receive classes of programming and electronics.

In addition to offering quality technological training, the program encourages practical learning and student creativity. During the six-month duration, participants will have access to classes and activities that cover fundamentals to provide a solid foundation for the development of experimental projects.

The partnership between the Renova Foundation and the Campus Party Institute seeks to contribute to the strengthening of a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in these regions. The students’ outstanding projects will be presented in Mini-Project Exhibitions at Campus Party, in São Paulo, one of the largest technology fairs in the country, in the 2024 and 2025 editions. This opportunity will allow students to showcase their talents and innovative ideas to a wide and diverse audience.
