With new installations, the space has opened its doors for primary health care
On April 8, the new Basic Health Unit (UBS) was officially delivered to the residents of the sub-districts of Bento Rodrigues and Paracatu in Mariana (MG), both impacted by the collapse of the Fundão dam. In March, the Renova Foundation already provided the Municipality of Mariana with new interim health equipment to attend the families.
The provisional UBS was installed in a municipality owned property and its structure was renovated and equipped by Renova. The facility follows all the parameters required by the Unified Health System (SUS) and offers care in the areas of general practice, gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology and nutrition, among other specialties.
