Initiative provides resources for projects in Culture, Sports, Recreation and Tourism areas.
Starting today, January 8th, the Doce RFP ES is accepting applications. Through this Request for Proposals, the Renova Foundation will support social initiatives committed to encouraging Tourism, Culture, Sports and Recreation in municipalities in Espirito Santo impacted by the collapse of the Fundao dam in Mariana (MG).
The RFP will allocate up to R$ 4.5 million within the thematic axes foreseen for new or existing projects, which must be executed within 12 months. This amount will be divided according to estimates by the municipalities and the areas within scope.
Those that may participate, free of charge, are projects by individuals, micro-entrepreneurs, collectives and informal groups, non-profit organizations and companies operating in the municipalities of Aracruz, Baixo Guandu, Colatina, Conceicao da Barra, Fundao, Linhares, Marilandia, Sao Mateus, Serra and Sooretama. Each bidding party may submit up to three different proposals.
Rafaela Cavalcanti, Renova Foundation analyst of the Program Supporting Tourism, Culture, Sports and Recreation, believes that the initiative of the RFP helps in the process of forming partnerships for community projects. “Through the RFPs, partnerships can serve the impacted municipalities more comprehensively and contemplate more initiatives for the communities”, she says.
Applications must be submitted by February 24, 2020, and the results are expected to be released in June. The first call for projects shall take place in the first half of 2020, offering financial support to the best proposals.
Questions about the RFP can be sent, between January 09 and February 07, to: editaldocees@fundacaorenova.org. In-person workshops will also be held in Sao Mateus, Linhares, Aracruz and Baixo Guandu to clarify the Doce RFP ES. The free meetings will be held in January.
