The initiative aims to improve its service to the impacted families
Within the first two weeks of March, the Renova Foundation will start the replacement of the financial aid cards distributed to those impacted by the collapse of the Fundão dam. The change does not imply an interruption to the receipt of the benefit nor any additional cost to the users.
The reason for the replacement is the termination of the contract with Policard, the current provider of the payments. Alelo is the new company who will take over the service. Therefore, only those families who already have a Policard will go through this process.
RECEIPT AND UNLOCK OF THE NEW CARD
Each town will have a replacement period, which runs until May 30. The communities will be informed in advance and the company In Haus, hired by Renova, will deliver the cards at the homes of the beneficiaries.
In Mariana, Barra Longa, Santa Cruz do Escalvado and Rio Doce (MG), the cardholder can also pick up the card at the Information and Service Centers of the Renova Foundation. To have the card unlocked, the user must call the Allele Customer Service Center.
The Dialogues team of the Renova Foundation will be available for answering questions at the Information and Service Centers and also by phone at 0800 031 2303. For more information, please access here our booklet (available in portuguese) or the Frequently Asked Questions of our site.
