CLARIFICATION NOTICE – REIMBURSEMENT OF EXTRAORDINARY EXPENSES OF MUNICIPALITIES

The Renova Foundation informs that, to date, 17 municipalities have agreed to the terms of the agreement and received payments, and that of four other municipalities the documentation is under review. The Transaction and Conduct Adjustment Term (TTAC) established that “the Foundation will discuss with the impacted municipalities how to compensate for the extraordinary public expenses that resulted from the Fundao dam collapse”. Therefore, any legal process that has as its object the duties established by the TTAC has a direct impact on the Foundation’s competencies.
