Teachers took the opportunity to develop a pedagogical project that explores the past, the present and the future of Bento Rodrigues
Students from the Bento Rodrigues Municipal School visited the Lavoura site (MG), on June 28, where the district will be built. There were two visits, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The teachers took the opportunity to develop a pedagogical project that explores the past, the present and the future of Bento Rodrigues.
What had been taught in the classroom could now be experienced by the students in practice. The area where the school will be rebuilt and the streets where their new houses will rise, caught the students’ attention.
“The students were dazzled by the visit. Based on this, they will complete assignments, which will include the development of texts and the production of drawings about what each one them saw and expects from the new place”, said Eliene Geralda dos Santos, the school principal.
The Renova Foundation and those in charge of the school worked together to organize the visit, which is part of the construction process of Bento Rodrigues and allows the future residents of the new community to get familiar with the location.
