The first list of projects selected for the 3rd Edition of the Doce RFP in the areas of culture, tourism, sports and recreation in the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo was released on October 2nd. The projects can be seen by clicking here.
APPROVED AND FAILED proponents can send appeals, if they do not agree with their grade and/or opinion until October 6th, by filling out the form that will be made available on the Prosas Platform. Then, the analysis phase takes place, from October 9th to 18th. The updated list of results, with the finalist projects, will be released on October 20th.
Individuals, micro-entrepreneurs, collectives and informal groups, non-profit organizations and companies operating in the municipalities of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo affected by the collapse of the Fundão dam (MG) participated in the selection process.
The incentive is aimed at new or existing projects registered in previous editions. The Renova Foundation’s budget for the initiatives is up to R$25,000 for individuals, R$60,000 for informal collectives and R$200,000 for others.
“The Doce RFP is the gateway for the Renova Foundation to support projects in the territories with financial resources that aim to promote the areas of tourism, culture, sports and recreation . The process is transparent and provides an excellent opportunity to encourage initiatives in each region”, highlights Érika Carvalho Boechat, Education and Culture analyst at the Renova Foundation.
